Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Wealth Map handles information when you use the app.

Information You Enter

Wealth Map lets you enter assets, liabilities, amounts, currencies, categories, reminder preferences, currency settings, and portfolio history. This information is used to show your asset and liability lists, net worth totals, trends, reminders, widgets, and backups.

Wealth Map does not require bank, brokerage, crypto wallet, or credit card logins. Do not enter account passwords, full account numbers, tax IDs, security codes, or other financial credentials into the app or support emails.

Local Storage and iCloud

Your financial records are stored locally on your Apple device by default using Apple platform storage. Wealth Map does not create an app-managed financial account for you.

If you enable iCloud backup or sync, your app data and supported settings may be stored and synchronized through your personal Apple iCloud account using Apple services. You can turn iCloud sync on or off in the app settings when iCloud is available.

Apple device backups, iCloud backups, and other Apple system services may also handle app data depending on your device settings.

Widgets, Backups, and Export

When widgets are enabled, Wealth Map writes a limited summary of your portfolio to the app's shared Apple App Group container so home screen, lock screen, and watch experiences can show current net worth information.

If you export a backup file, the exported file is created on your device and shared only through the destination you choose in the iOS share sheet. Imported backup files are used to restore data into the app.

Exchange Rates and Metal Prices

Wealth Map may contact Firebase-hosted services to retrieve currency exchange rates and precious metal prices. The app uses these rates to calculate totals across currencies and supported precious metal holdings.

These services return shared cached market data. They are not intended to receive your asset names, liability names, portfolio amounts, account credentials, or personal financial records.

Firebase Hosting and Cloud Functions may receive standard technical request information, such as IP address, date and time, request path, user agent, and basic request metadata, as part of normal hosting, security, diagnostics, and abuse-prevention logs.

Support Email

If you contact support at bxvdev@gmail.com, the information you include in your email will be used to respond to your request.

Do not send sensitive financial credentials or security codes in support emails.
